Thanks for your support and Happy New Year of 2022!
It's been a tough but still fruitful year of 2021 during the ongoing pandemic of COVID19.
This year, the most important, we are still alive and healthy.
This year, we established contacts with several organizations in China, EU (mainly the Netherlands) and the US in gas turbine (energy transition), managerial consulting and medical&health fields.
This year, we supported the submission of a project proposal from TU/e to the NSFC-NWO called “Towards More Sustainable and Social Local Energy Systems”, and a joint letter to the EU Commission to propose a voluntary crediting system for the EU’s target to be carbon neutral by 2050 in the transport sector.
This year, Dr. Shanglong Zhu personally visited a gas turbine company, a traditional construction company and a world's number one high-tech company in the industry, to learn about their respective environments, industry trends, and experience and lessons in R&D, operations, supply chain, HR, financial considerations and marketing under their specific situation.
This year, we are happy to have accumulated some hands-on knowledge of sensor applications, energy transition and consulting, as well as various practical methods to improve employee well-being (both physical and mental health).

Last Month (April 2021), Longway Energy was formally founded and registered in the Netherlands. Its founder, Dr. ir. Shanglong Zhu, would like to sincerely thank his ex-colleagues, alumni and teachers for their efforts and support to achieve this milestone in 2021. It's a tough period with the COVID-19 pandemic, but we are stronger when we are connected and united. Today, the website of Longway Energy is online and available to the world. Let's work together to make our planet a better place to live on.
